“Free The Unread Chats In Whasapp”
Message Overload
On a normal day, an average person checks his phone 150 times. Imagine the amount of notifications and badges that would pop up on that small screen during the festive seasons…
Have you ever had the nightmare to scroll through all the unread messages in “Whatsapp” when replying all those festival greetings?
The worst part is after replying one message, you have to scroll all the way down to find all the other messages that you have not replied. Having to reply all the messages during the limited time of the festive seasons, oh my gosh that just feels troublesome does it not?
Do not worry, we are sharing with you a magic button on the “Whatsapp” application. When I first found out about this feature, I ask myself: “Oops, Am I the only person who does not know about this?” Apparently, I was not alone, many of my friends did not know about this feature on “Whatsapp” too!
The Magic Button Exists
The magic button is actually called the “Unread Chats Filter”, it provides you the feature to see ONLY the unread messages. Behold my friends, I can guarantee that this button itself will solve 99% of your nightmares during the festive season.
How can I find the “Unread Chats Filter”?
On Whatapp Web/ Desktop: All you have to do is to click the filter icon to the right of the search bar. It will instantaneously sort out all the unread messages. To turn the filter off, all you have to do is to click the same filter icon to turn it off.
This function is not only limited to using the “Whatsapp” on PC. The triangle-shaped “Unread Chats Filter” button is on the iPhones too. You can locate the filter icon just next to your search bar, so you can actually use the same function on your iPhones too.
On Android: All that is needed is just a single tap on your search icon, you can select the type of messages you would like to filter. For example: Unread Messages, Photos, Videos, Links, Audio and Documents.
Happy reading and scrolling.
Fun Facts:
Did you know “Whatsapp” is a pun on the phrase What’s Up?
Also, Whatsapp was actually found in February of 2009 by ex-employers of “Yahoo!” Brian Acton and Jan Koum. Who would guess one day Whatsapp will become one of the most used messaging application that is used today? To-date, Whatsapp has more than 2 billion people in over 180 countries.
