Mrs\u00a0 Tan Chun King<\/p>\n<p>The Petitioner\u00a0 early education in La Salle Klang.\u00a0\u00a0 Thereafter,\u00a0\u00a0 the Petitioner read law in the Multimedia University, Malacca.\u00a0\u00a0 Upon completing his degree, the Petitioner commenced his pupilage in the chambers of Mr. Kumar Kanagasingam of Messrs.\u00a0 Lee Hishammuddin\u00a0 Allen &amp; Gledhill<\/p>\n<p>My Lord,<\/p>\n<p>I asked what was the ambition of the Petitioner when he was\u00a0 little?<\/p>\n<p>To be a good soldier,\u00a0 because soldiers are the ones who run into a building on fire\u00a0 when everybody else is running in the opposite direction.\u00a0\u00a0 Therefore unlike many young people, He was\u00a0 therefore slightly\u00a0 disappointed not to be selected to be in National Service Training.<\/p>\n<p>Actually he wanted to the Bruce Willies of Malaysia to star in\u00a0 Die Hard 5.<\/p>\n<p>On this very special occasion, the Petitioner seeks the leave of this Honourable Court to express his gratitude and appreciation to the following people who had truly made a difference to the Petitioner&#8217;s life:-<\/p>\n<p>To the most important people in his life, his father, Mr. Tan\u00a0 Chun King,\u00a0 and mother Madam Tee Swee Keok whose\u00a0 unconditional love, care and trust had shaped the Petitioner\u00a0 into the person he Is today.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 &#8216;I am very blessed and proud to be your son.&#8217;\u00a0\u00a0 he says.\u00a0\u00a0 YP\u00a0 seeks\u00a0 leave to say a few words in Mandarin,\u00a0 &#8216;Xie Xie Ni&#8217;, to his parents who are here today.<\/p>\n<p>To his brother and sister, Mr. Tan Eng Seen, and Miss Tan\u00a0 Rong Miin, the Petitioner would like to thank them for always being there to guide him and sharing their\u00a0 life experiences with him.\u00a0 Their guidance played a role in helping the Petitioner make better and wiser decisions.<\/p>\n<p>To his pupil master, Mr. Kumar Kanagasingam, whose\u00a0 flair\u00a0 and skills as a litigator\u00a0 never fail to inspire the Petitioner,\u00a0 to Miss Gaithri, who has been a mentor and a friend.<\/p>\n<p>The most exciting part of the 9 months was that he had an\u00a0 opportunity to assist, Mr. Kumar Kanagasingam and\u00a0 Miss Gaithri in a 28 days\u00a0 section 181\u00a0 (Companies Act)\u00a0 trial\u00a0 where\u00a0 a new precedent\u00a0 was set.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Usually, in a s 181 petition,\u00a0 it is the majority that will buy out\u00a0 the minority, now the minority can also buy out the majority.<\/p>\n<p>To his current immediate superior,\u00a0\u00a0 Mr. Mong Chung Seng for having faith and trust in him to accept him into his team at M\/s Lee Hishammuddin.<\/p>\n<p>To all the partners, senior associates, associates,\u00a0 the wonderful and ever cheerful pupils, especially Mr. Mak Hon Pan, Miss Josephine Chin, Miss Bella Chu, of Messrs Lee Hishammuddin Allen &amp; Gledhill, the Petitioner would like to thank them for their contributions and constant assistance rendered\u00a0 during the Petitione&#8217;s &#8216;learning curve&#8217;\u00a0 as a pupil for\u00a0 the entire 9 months.<\/p>\n<p>To Miss Wong Jing En, who has always come around when the Petitioner needed the most support and encouragement.\u00a0 To\u00a0 all his high school\u00a0 buddies, and his university friends, the Petitioner would like to record his gratitude for their love, encouragement and friendship.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, the Petitioner appreciates his well\u00a0 wishers who are present this morning to share\u00a0 and\u00a0 witness this very special and joyful occasion.<\/p>\n<p>My Lord, I verily believe that all cause papers are\u00a0 in order and\u00a0 that the Petitioner is a fit and proper person, to be admitted\u00a0 and enrolled as an advocate &amp;
